Psychiatric Evaluation: This is the getting to know the patient: which includes medical and psychiatric history, mental status examination etc. This typically lasts about an hour - this is very necessary to determine diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Diagnoses will be made at the conclusion of the evaluation. Lab tests may be needed based on the evaluation and medication needs.

Monitoring of medications is to ensure understanding of regimen, efficacy, interactions and titration is important in managing mental health conditions. We also offer Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), medication for treating dependency on substances. These medications help people stop using the substance of choice, while also reducing cravings and minimizing withdrawal symptoms. Medication-Assisted Treatment has been found to be effective at preventing relapse and overdose.

PRP encompasses daily living skills, medication monitoring, performing tasks, time management, social skills etc. The goal is to assist patients/clients to develop emotional, social and intellectual skills to achieve their goals in the community. These include independent living skills, financial management, employment prep, coping strategies. Services offered onsite and offsite.
We offer monthly group sessions to help you address concerns, learn about coping skills, increase self-awareness & self-acceptance, identify with others who share similar concerns and improve quality of life. The sessions can provide emotional support, motivation & hope, develop & improve social skills. Group sessions are held on the last Wednesday of every month from 5:30pm - 6:30pm.
Altruistic Healthcare Services understand the stresses of life and the difficulty in dealing with them and how it affects the client's stability and function in the community. Services include individual therapy, counseling, etc. Licensed providers will offer therapy sessions if needed. If you have a therapist already, it does not interfere with the care received here.
Telepsychiatry sessions are being offered to all clients. We utilize a HIPAA compliant platform for services so your privacy is assured.
